Thanks to some batting heroics by Andrew Salter, and latterly James Harris, Glamorgan 2nd XI made it six out of six yesterday (Wednesday) against Warwickshire 2nd XI at Newport to surge to the top of the Central Group in the Second Eleven T20 competition as the Welsh county defend their title in the tournament.
Today (Thursday) they travel to Taunton Vale CC to play their next group game against their counterparts from Somerset, looking to consolidate their place in the group table and further enhance their claims for a place at Finals Day.
