Glamorgan’s victory against Worcestershire at Cardiff equalled their record for the largest margin of victory against the West Midlands team. (writes Andrew Hignell)
Whilst the Welsh county won by an innings and 106 runs at Neath, 1951 and by 241 runs at Colwyn Bay, 2010, their victory on Saturday afternoon equalled their record for the largest winning margin in terms of wickets, having beaten Worcestershire by ten wickets at Sophia Gardens in 2013.
Overall, it was their 25th victory by ten wickets in the County Championship and their first by this margin since April 2021 when they humbled Kent also at Cardiff.
