Glamorgan Cricket is proud to announce a brand-new partnership with print specialists, Stephens and George.

The Merthyr-based company has agreed to become the Welsh county’s first-ever ‘Official Pathway Partner’ for the next two seasons.

The ground-breaking deal will see Stephens and George receive front-of-shirt branding on all Glamorgan and Glamorgan-operated Wales National age-grade teams, covering:

  • Wales National Age Grade Boys – Under 13, 14, 15 and 17
  • Wales National Age Girls – Under 13, 15 and 17
  • Wales Senior Women
  • Glamorgan Colts

Andrew LG Jones, Chairman and Group Managing Director at Stephens and George, said: "We are delighted once again to be involved with grassroots cricket in Wales.

"Stephens & George has a long and proud association with Cricket Wales, stemming back to the time when Geoff Holmes was Board Director. However, our partnership drew to a conclusion after his untimely and tragic death.

"We firmly believe that in order for any sport to thrive, the development and investment in youth is imperative.

"Strong youth programmes guarantee continuity and success of the sport and safeguard a pathway for future generations of sportsmen and women.

"Hopefully, through our sponsorship, we will see a number of young cricketers representing not only Cricket Wales, but go on and progress to play for Glamorgan Cricket Club and England."

Director of Cricket, Mark Wallace, said: “Stephens and George have been proud partners of the Club for a number of years and as a successful Welsh business, they are the perfect fit to become our first ever Official Pathway Partner and represent us on the front of the shirt.

“Our Pathway has produced many outstanding cricketers in the past, including the likes of David Lloyd, Kiran Carlson, Andrew Salter and Prem Sisodiya who are thriving in the first team today.

“With this exciting partnership, we can continue to invest in our Pathway and produce the next generation of girls and boys who will hopefully go on to represent the Club at a professional level.”
