Steyn Loving Life At Glamorgan

Dale Steyn says he is \'loving\' his time at Glamorgan, spearheading the bowling attack to great effect in T20 cricket, after taking 4/18 versus Kent Spitfires last night.

Steyn's spell helped Glamorgan complete a 55-run win (D/L) and the South African admitted it was great to be back to his best, taking wickets and bowling fast.

The 32-year-old arrived in Cardiff at the beginning of the month after a stint with the Gujarat Lions, but only played one match for his side in the Indian Premier League.

Now, as Steyn leads Glamorgan to the top of the T20 Blast South Group, he reflected on a great 'vibe' for himself and the team. He has taken nine wickets in four matches for the Welsh county, despite going wicketless in his first match, the defeat to Essex Eagles.

"I'm loving it, just to feel that vibe again, feel that energy flow about taking wickets," he said.

"Just to get back into that (wicket-taking) mode, when you don't do it for a while, you miss it, you almost forget how to do it," he added.

"When I played against Essex I was a bit rusty, one or two things didn't go my way and you doubt yourself again.

"But the second game, when I got a wicket, it kicks in again."

Steyn's last match will be at The SSE SWALEC, Cardiff on Friday against Surrey and he was keen to grab another victory for the Welsh county before he departs to the Caribbean Premier League.

"I'd love to win that, Glamorgan top of the log (table), and I hope I've come and added some kind of influence on the guys' game as well as the matches," he added.
