That is the first time I have had someone predict a wicket and it has actually happened - Douthwaite

All-rounder Dan Douthwaite dismissed England captain Joe Root for 99 to finally break the 119-run partnership between him and Steven Patterson.

Glamorgan bowled out Yorkshire for 230 before reaching 108/3 by the close on day three, giving them an overall lead of 27 runs heading into the final day.

"Yeah, I think if I am being critical, it would have been nice to get him earlier but getting a player of that calibre is a special feeling.

"It was weird how it happened seeing as Kiran Carlson stood at mid off two balls before I was going to get him out trying to dab it down to third man and he would chop it on to the stumps and he did. I was telling him at the time to go away and let me focus on my bowling.

"That is the first time I have had someone predict a wicket and it has actually happened.

"I think it is quite a tough pitch to be fair but I think Joe today, Patterson at times as well, and Kiran and David Lloyd at the end there just showed that if you can get yourself in and be busy from the get go and play that front foot brand of cricket we have spoken about this season so far it is not the worst pitch to get yourself in and go big on."
