Head coach Matt Maynard was full of praise for his batsmen after they chased 191 against Worcestershire Rapids and believes his side has now found a formula for T20 cricket at the back end of the campaign.
Maynard also singled out bowlers Prem Sisodiya and Timm van der Gugten for praise with Sisodiya opening the bowling for the Welsh county and van der Gugten ending the T20 campaign with 14 wickets.
"It was a great chase to be fair to the batters," said Maynard. "Lloydy and Sellers gave us a great start, a great platform and although we lost a couple of wickets at the end, to see the skipper there at the end and Dan striking as he can was really pleasing.
"It's nice that we've found a bit of a formula now in T20 cricket. I've loved what Prem has brought to the team and what he's done with the ball and Timm has taken wickets throughout and he got two or three today.
"There are lots of pleasing signs but we haven't qualified so we're disappointed. We're starting to get a system in place now which will hopefully see us good for the future."
Although Glamorgan finished the T20 campaign with back-to-back victories, the Welsh county went winless in the Bob Willis Trophy, which Maynard put down to a lack of top order runs. However, with the return of Marnus Labuschagne and the development of younger batsman, he sees no reason why his team can't replicate their 2019 red-ball form next season.
"The difference between last season and this season has been runs on the board. We were consistent last year and have our bowlers something to bowl at and that's been short this year.
"With the emergence of one or two young players who will hopefully kick-on next season and with a shuffle of the top order [with David Lloyd moving to the top] there isn't a reason why we can't get those runs.
"Having Marnus back will help. He's been a big player for us in more ways than just the runs he scored. He brought a lot to the environment and helped push the other lads on to achieve and reach their potential so it will be brilliant to have him back.
