Glamorgan fell to a five wicket defeat to Surrey in the Vitality Blast after the home side chased down 166 with 10 balls to spare.
Marnus Labuschagne struck his 3rd half-century in succession, but following the defeat head coach Matt Maynard conceded his side were light on runs and that Surrey had 'executed their skills better' on the night.
"They executed their skills better with the ball on that wicket, we didn't quite get our angles right in the field with the long boundary," said Maynard.
"Generally we were maybe 10-15 short but it was a good effort with Sellers and Marnus playing very well, delighted with the way Kiran went then we had a bit of a stutter in the death overs.
"They got off to a flying start, we were slightly full with the ball and we weren't quite there.
"Marnus is an incredibly adaptable player in reading situations, very skilful, he's a credit to himself. Colin Ingram's been quiet so far, we want him to come to the party and the lower order with Dan Douthwaite. Overall a battling performance, but not quite at our best and you have to be close to that every game."
