3 May 2019 | Community

We hope you're as excited as we are at Glamorgan Cricket for the only Vitality IT20 of the summer between England and Pakistan at Sophia Gardens. To ensure you make the most of your experience with us, check out our top tips and our event guide!

GATES OPEN

Gates open at 12:30pm on Sunday, with play scheduled to start at 2:30pm. We recommend you arrive as early as possible to avoid queues. Please use the gate listed on your ticket to enter the stadium.

There will be comprehensive security checks when entering the stadium, please only bring essential items with you and be patient whilst necessary checks are carried out.

Tickets are still available from HERE, by calling 02920 419 311, or from Gate 2 on the day.

TOP TIPS

1. Get Here Early

There is no parking in the vicinity of Sophia Gardens on the day. Entry to Sophia Close is for permit holders only. Sophia Gardens pay and display will not be accessible. The best way to get here is on the Park & Ride bus service from Cardiff City Stadium or via public transport to Cardiff Central. Plan your journey in advance and leave plenty of time to get to the ground. Comprehensive security measures will also be in place on entry to the stadium.

2. Don't miss the Vitality Cricket Festival

Take a walk around our beautiful ground and make sure you visit the Vitality Cricket Festival on the back lawn where we host our match-day activation. You can catch all the action on the big screen, plus live music from Brewhouse, plenty of chances to test your cricket skills and a range of food and refreshments. Have a go on one of Vitality’s smoothie bikes and pick-up some fantastic matchday giveaways!

3. Warm Welsh Welcome

Our stewards and information ambassadors are on hand to help on the day. If you have any queries, big or small, please speak to a steward who will be happy to assist you.

4. Beware of the Welsh weather

We know what summer and cricket is like. Be prepared for all eventualities! Bring sun cream, bring a raincoat, and be prepared to use them both on the same day.

5.  Don't forget your tickets (or your wallet!)

Duplicate tickets will not be issued at the ground, so make sure you bring yours! There is no cash point on site but all our food and drink outlets accept card and contactless payments.

6. Drink within your boundaries, and please stay off ours

Please stay off the pitch and make sure you drink within your limits so you can adhere to the ground regulations, which can be found around the stadium and here: www.glamorgancricket.com/groundregs

There are plenty of bars in the Food Village, the Vitality Cricket Festival and around the concourse. Please don't bring alcohol to the ground as it is prohibited within our ground regulations. Unsealed plastic bottles are also prohibited.

Our Green Goblets will be in use with deposits for plastic pint glasses (£1) & jugs (£5). Cash & card payments are accepted at all concessions.

There will be water refill units located within the venue, bring empty bottles to stay hydrated.

To access the Multi Faith room, please remember to scan out of the stadium to ensure you can get back in!

The Sport Wales National Centre is located behind the Foster's Grandstand, with Gate 2 the nearest entry/exit point.
