Unchanged Glamorgan Squad for Biggest Game of the Season

23 Jul 2015 | Cricket
Glamorgan Head Coach Toby Radford has confirmed an unchanged 12-man squad for tomorrow night's must-win NatWest T20 Blast clash at The SSE SWALEC against Gloucestershire following last week's thrilling win against Kent Spitfires.
Glamorgan defeated top of the pool Kent Spitfires at picturesque Tunbridge Wells last week, thanks to superb death bowling from Michael Hogan and Graham Wagg to secure the victory.

Although still dependent on results elsewhere on the final night of the group stage, Glamorgan know a home win against Gloucestershire will put them in with a chance of a final quarter-final place, in similar style to last year.

It comes down to the wire, said Toby Radford, we play Gloucestershire tomorrow night, almost as if it is our final to try and get into the quarter-finals.

We go in positive, we've just beaten the leaders of the group last week in Tunbridge Wells in what was a great win, a little bit nerve wracking being down to the last ball, but we've played some good cricket in this competition and we've beaten some good sides in what is a strong Group.

We can only control the game we are involved in, so we know we need a win tomorrow and for some other results to go our way.

It is the biggest game of the season in terms of where it leads to. Last year we got to the quarter-finals and just missed out on a place at Finals Day by 1 run so we'd love to get as far if not further than that and make Finals Day this season.

Last year was the same we had to beat Gloucestershire at home to go through and we face the same proposition, although we were a little more in control of our destiny last year in terms of other results.

But we have to focus on our bit and control what we can, and let's see what happens.
