Batter Colin Ingram continued his magnificent form for Glamorgan this year as he smashed 110 to ease Glamorgan to a 133-run victory over Wales National County (WNC).
The South African was at his belligerent best as he cruised to a century off just 70 balls with his innings containing 11 fours and four sixes.
“It has always been the one (format) I really enjoyed,” said Ingram.
“Growing up in South Africa we played a lot of it and junior age levels before T20 cricket came in. It is something I know well and really enjoy, so it was nice to spend some time in the middle.
“It is obviously going well at the moment. I like to keep it nice and simple and make sure I am doing the right things. You always want to hold onto that form as long as possible. It was a tricky start this morning as the ball moved around a bit. I tried to build my way into an innings and it flowed nicely.
“I want a good couple of wins. The guys have good confidence in this format after last year’s fantastic form they showed by winning the final and winning that trophy was a special moment for the Club. We are under a bit more pressure to come back and make sure that happens again.
“We made a great start to that today. We can take a lot of the performance and hopefully hit the ground running on Tuesday.”
