Glamorgan will be looking to take their LV= County Championship form into the NatWest T20 Blast as they take on Middlesex at The SSE SWALEC tonight.
Toby Radford's side were comfortable 10 wicket winners over Northants in midweek and Graham Wagg says it is imperative they continue their four-day hot-streak - winning their last two matches - in the shorter format.
Craig Meschede starred with bat and ball, hitting 107 and taking 3-19 against Northants, but Wagg believes pressure is mounting on Glamorgan as they look to avoid three straight home defeats in the T20 Blast South Group.
He said: It's a happy place to be in Championship cricket but in T20 there's a bit of pressure on us after losing two games at home on the bounce, so we're looking to put that right with a good performance [tonight[.
It's very disappointing for the guys in last two games. We always ask for a decent crowd down here and they always put on a good show. Everything down here is absolutely fantastic so to lose twice on home soil feels very disappointing.
Glamorgan began their Blast campaign with a bang when they were 25 run victors over Surrey but have endured two losses at home since.
He added: The standard of cricket keeps getting higher and it is getting tougher and tougher.
Wagg also said a win tonight could be the spark for success in the tournament.
You'd have to speak to the coach and captain but if we lose this game in the T20 we might have to set out sights on other things. It's a huge game for us.
I've been in and out of form and a few guys have been the same. We haven't really got together as that unit consistently on the field in T20. We haven't clicked as a team. There have been some good individual performances but unfortunately unless they are amazing performances that doesn't win you the game.
Gates open at 5pm before ahead of a 6.30pm start at The SSE SWALEC.
