All-rounder Dan Douthwaite said a lack of nerves and a 'clearer mind' contributed to his match-winning cameo against Worcestershire in the Vitality Blast.
Douthwaite clubbed three sixes in the last over to seal an improbable victory as Glamorgan posted their second highest successful run chase in T20 cricket.
"It was a weird last over, I wasn't feeling as nervous as I usually would because there would have been a lot more on it if we or Worcestershire could have qualified.
"To hit three sixes in the last over gives me a bit to work with and learn from - when I go into things less nervous and with a clearer mind, they tend to come off a lot better for me."
Having endured a disappointing Bob Willis Trophy campaign, Glamorgan finished the season with back-to-back victories in the Vitality Blast and Douthwaite believes the team can take the positives in to the 2021 season.
"It's been a weird summer and Matt (Maynard) would kill me if I didn't say we didn't play every game as pugnaciously as possible.
"It means going out and playing brave cricket and I think we've given it our all but it hasn't come off for us in red-ball cricket but it's really nice to finish the way we have in the Vitality Blast and hopefully we can take that forward in to next season."
