Head Coach Robert Croft says confidence is high in the squad after his side recorded back-to-back wins against Somerset and Middlesex to top the south group and earn a home quarter-final in the NatWest T20 Blast for the second consecutive season.
Glamorgan now face Leicestershire Foxes tomorrow and will be looking to go one better than last year when they stumbled against the Yorkshire Vikings in Cardiff in the last eight.
“When you do get toward the end of a competition the pressure rises but that’s the same for every team,” said Croft
“We have prepared well; we are in quite good form and we’re looking forward to the opportunity tomorrow brings.
“We want to go all the way - that’s the aim of this campaign. There’s a slight difference between this year and last year. Thinking back to last year when we came to this stage our form was dropping off quite dramatically, but this time we’re going into the game with two wins so the confidence is better
“We realise at knockout stages it’s about the team that handles the pressure the best and whoever can execute their game plan will come out on top.”
