Glamorgan Cricket are delighted to announce that South Wales’ largest temperature-controlled storage and distribution company has extended its exclusive sponsorship deal with the club.

Wild Water Group has signed a deal to remain as a box holder at the club and sponsor of the Wild Water Lounge, one of Glamorgan’s premium hospitality and event lounges for the next five years.

Sitting on the second floor of the Discover Leeks Pavilion, the elevated function venue includes an adjoining open-air terrace, and is renowned to offer one of the best panoramic views of Sophia Gardens and surrounding areas.

Ken Rattenbury, managing director of Wild Water Group, said: “It’s an exciting period generally within Wild Water Group as we are on a major expansion drive, so to secure this partnership and be able to build on our existing relationship with Glamorgan County Cricket Club is another win for us this year.

“We are really honoured to be associated with such a prestigious Welsh sports organisation and all the fantastic work that they do.

“The added bonus for us fans this year will be watching all the Cricket World Cup heavyweights battling it out on our home turf at Sophia Gardens.”

Head of commercial, Huw Warren, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Wild Water Group and retain our strong links with another leading Welsh business.

“Signing on a long-term basis as a box holder and sponsor endorses our ongoing commercial strategy at the club to work with companies who are keen to develop sport in Wales and are invested in supporting Welsh cricket.

“We’re excited for the season ahead and look forward to continuing to work closely with Wild Water Group over the next five years and hopefully beyond.”
