At Sophia Gardens, food is at the heart of the experience we create for our guests. We take immense pride in sourcing the freshest ingredients from local Welsh suppliers, choosing small, independent producers wherever possible to add a truly personal touch to every dish. Being just a short walk from Cardiff Market, we’re able to hand-pick the best seasonal produce, bringing vibrant, fresh flavours straight to your plate.

Unlike many larger venues, we have the freedom to design seasonal menus that reflect what’s at its best, offering our clients greater choice, better quality, and genuine creativity in every event we cater. Our kitchen is run by a team of highly skilled chefs, many of whom have been with us since 2008. We’re constantly evolving, always looking for those small but important changes that can make a big difference to our clients. From the moment we begin planning our menus, we’re focused on attention to detail, flexibility, and care, all while adhering strictly to the top 14 allergen guidelines for your guests’ peace of mind.
