Our largest room with a theatre capacity of 800, The Sophia Hall has played host to countless large scale events since it opened for the 1999 Cricket World Cup. Located in the heart of Cardiff, The Sophia Hall allows organisations to have a large blank canvas enabling clients to tailor the room specifically to their event concept whether it is an exhibition, conference or dinner.

Easy ground floor access, supporting kitchens and breakout rooms on the upper floors of the National Cricket Centre, mean that the potential of the Sophia Hall is only limited by your imagination.

Designed to be utilised as an event space as well as an attraction for visitors.

The Museum (which opened in 2012) is situated on the first floor of the National Cricket Centre at Glamorgan’s headquarters at Sophia Gardens

Created in partnership with CC4, the Cardiff-based multimedia company and e-learning specialists, the award-winning Museum received generous support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, as well as other bodies, including Visit Wales, to produce a series of fascinating and vibrant displays which celebrate the long and rich heritage of cricket in Wales besides helping to bring history alive.

Events in the Museum benefit from interesting displays which provide an unique backdrop for your guests, who can also enjoy a view overlooking the cricket ground.
