ENTRY TO SOPHIA GARDENS

All Event Goers will enter through Gates 4 and 5 (next to each other). For those who have purchased tickets, e-tickets have been sent to you via email at the time of booking. These tickets can be printed at home but we encourage you to show them to us for scanning on your phone at the gate.

WE WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND YOU DOWNLOAD YOUR TICKETS TO YOUR APPLE WALLET OR GOOGLE WALLET.

If you are bringing a bag, please leave extra time for this bag to be searched and tagged on entry.

This is an outdoor event so please keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.

TRAVEL

There is no public car parking available at the Stadium. There are a number of independent car parks located throughout the city, visit ncp.co.uk/cardiff.

Our closest Cardiff Council car park is at Sophia Gardens Car Park located at CF11 9FH.

Pontcanna Fields Car Park (CF11 9HY – approx. a 5/10 minute walk) and North Road Car Park (CF10 3DU approx. a 15-minute walk through the park).

SEATING AND SECURITY

This is an allocated seated event with no pitch access. No ticket upgrades are available on the day.

• Comprehensive security measures will be in place for all those visiting Sophia Gardens
• All bags will be searched upon entry - small bags would be advisable to avoid delays
• Please have your event ticket available as you enter the stadium. Our stewards are very happy to assist with any queries you may have. If you have any safety or security concerns during the event, please contact your nearest steward who will be happy to assist.

FOOD AND DRINK

Whatever whets your appetite, there’s sure to be a dish that will tickle your taste buds at Sophia Gardens.

There’s a range of catering outlets located around the stadium to fuel your hunger. 

Our catering outlets offer vibrant flavours and exciting menus, plus a wide selection of vendors serving vegetarian, vegan and halal menu options, you’re sure to find something that you can enjoy.

You’ll never be far away from a refreshing beverage, with bars and kiosks located in the Pavilion Car Park. Whether you fancy a draught lager, a refreshing cider, a classic G&T or a soft drink – we’ve got you covered.

If you’re feeling fruity, go for the new Thatchers range or if you’re feeling adventurous, we have a choice of ales on offer from our partner Glamorgan Brewing Co and a selection of amazing gins from our Official Gin Partner, Hensol Gin.

Please note: we are still operating as a cashless stadium, so please bring card payment rather than cash.

SUSTAINABILITY

We have installed water fountains throughout the stadium to aid our push to stop the reliance on single-use plastic. These are located underneath the Thatchers Pavilion car parking area. Please bring a bottle to fill up.

In our public areas we have removed plastic single-use disposable pint glasses.

The Club will now be using the TWOINONE Flexy Glasses around the stadium.

The main benefits of the cup (relating to sustainability) are as follows:

- FULLY Biodegradable New BSI Biodegradation standard (PAS 9017)

- Made in the UK - Low carbon footprint

- Breaks down if accidentally disposed of on land in an open environment, without causing effect to land

ENTERTAINMENT

There is something for everyone in the Family Fun Zone, with fairground rides, face painters, and sweet stalls on the Pavilion Lawn.

Wyburn and Wayne will be hosting the event, whilst Cardiff Theatre Café will be performing on the lawn.

City Hospice, the charity partner for the event, will be greeting guests on arrival and adding their sparkle to the event at Gate 4.

ACCESSIBILITY AND INCLUSIVENESS

Sophia Gardens Cardiff is a venue that caters for all of our visitors’ needs. It is our intention to provide information about accessibility of the facilities we have in place and the use of these facilities. An Accessible seating area is available at the front of the Members' stand - pre-booking is needed for these spaces.

Our friendly stewards will be on hand to help in any way they can.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We ask that stadium visitors remain considerate and respectful whilst at the venue and remember that other Event Goers and staff may have ongoing health challenges that may affect them or their close families.

First aid - St Johns Ambulance will be on hand to assist if required.

GROUND REGULATIONS

We would like to politely remind all Event Goers to check our Ground Regulations before you arrive.

Do

• Please arrive early to avoid queues
• Please plan your travel to the event in advance – no on-site parking is available
• Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress appropriately
• Please place any waste in the bins provided – we encourage you to recycle in the appropriate bins where possible  
• Water stations are available underneath the Pavilion concourse, please bring an empty bottle with you.
• If you have any issues or concerns please highlight to your nearest steward

Don’t

• Please do not bring anything with you that may be considered a weapon
• Please do not bring any type of pyrotechnics such as fireworks, sparklers, flares or smoke bombs.
• Please do not bring any animals with you to the event (with the exception of registered hearing or guide dogs)
• Please do not bring any food or drink to the event. Food and drink will be available to purchase inside the venue

Re-entry will not be permitted once you leave the venue.
