David Lloyd has been on the Glamorgan staff for over a decade, having joined in 2012, and during that time has established himself as a leader and a successful county all-rounder.

Born in St. Asaph in north Wales, David established himself in the Glamorgan first team in 2016, hitting three centuries during the season, but missed the latter part of the 2017 season through injury.

Bouncing back in 2018, he quickly cemented his place in the team, and has captained Glamorgan in white-ball and latterly red-ball cricket. David finished the 2022 season in fine form – scoring 313 not out against Derbyshire in the County Championship at Sophia Gardens, an innings that included 40 fours and 4 sixes.
