Eddie Byrom joined Glamorgan on loan from Somerset for the last three games of the 2021 season before making the move permanent during that winter.
Born in Zimbabwe, but educated in Taunton and the holder of an Irish passport, he made his Somerset debut in 2017 and has also played club cricket during the winter in New Zealand, Australia and his native Zimbabwe.
Eddie established himself as a regular in the Glamorgan team during the 2022 season and holds a place at the top of the order.
