Born and raised in Cardiff, Henry honed his cricket skills at Lisvane Cricket Club. He embarked on the Wales pathway at the age of 11, attending Monmouth School from 14 and Cardiff High School prior. At 15, he was selected for the Glamorgan academy and made his second team debut against Derbyshire in 2021. In 2023, Henry toured South Africa with the Academy and earned 4 caps for England U19s during the one-day series against Ireland and Australia. His cap was presented by Freddie Flintoff. Over the winter, Henry played Grade cricket in Sydney for Mosman Cricket Club.
