Tom Cullen was born in Perth, Western Australia and educated at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
The steady right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper had trials with Leicestershire and Glamorgan, before securing a summer contract with the latter and making his first-class debut for the Welsh county during 2017. He subsequently became a full-time member of staff and is currently the understudy to first choice wicket-keeper Chris Cooke.
Cullen played a part in Glamorgan's promotion push in the 2019 season, recording four half-centuries and taking 29 catches in nine games.
In 2020 Cullen featured in three Bob Willis Trophy games, contributing to the draw against Warwickshire, and received a one-year contract extension for 2021.
