Tom graduated from the University of Nottingham with an undergraduate degree in physiotherapy. He then stayed in Nottingham for 2 years, where he worked full-time in a private hospital, mainly involving outpatient and inpatient work for elective surgeries. Alongside this, he worked extensively with the Nottingham Forest FC Academy, providing rehabilitation and match day first-aid cover. He then moved to Leeds where he continued to work in the NHS and private sector. He has now lived in Cardiff for over 4 years, during which time he has worked for Glamorgan CCC, in addition to other sports such as Welsh Netball. He completed a Masters in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy at Cardiff University, and joined the Club full-time before getting promoted to Lead Physiotherapist ahead of the 2025 season.
