Born in Newport in February 2001, the wicketkeeper-batsman found his love for the game early thanks to his Grandpa and then played for Newport Cricket Club from the age of 7. Will played for Wales Age Groups from the age of 10 to 17 before making his Wales National Counties debut in 2018.

His education at Kings College, Taunton in his later schooling years saw him play for Somerset and Gloucestershire Second XI, but Will actually made his debut in the Second XI competitions with Derbyshire in 2021.

However, it was in Ireland where the wicketkeeper-batsman made his First-Class and List A debuts while playing in the summer of 2019, having been part of their U19 World Cup Qualifiers team.

Will’s role in the Cardiff UCCE team helped demonstrate his cricketing abilities over the last few years, including scoring the winning runs when Cardiff UCCE beat Glamorgan in 2023. Will made his first-team debuts just before graduating with a Journalism degree.

He joined Glamorgan on his first professional contract for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Will made his first XI debut for Glamorgan during June 2023 in their Vitality Blast T20 contest against Surrey at The Oval, before playing a handful more games in the competition at Sophia Gardens.
