Terms and Conditions
1. The competition is open to all attendees of Varsity 2023, who are residents of the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland, aged 18 or over except for employees of Glamorgan County Cricket Club.
2. The prize draw runs from 9:00 BST on Wednesday 26th April 2022 until 23:59 Tuesday 19th May April 2023. These terms and conditions are effective starting at 9:00 on Wednesday 26th April.
3. This prize relies on submissions via this web page form only. Internet access is required to enter into this competition.
4. To enter, please follow the specific instructions to enter the form provided.
5. Only one entry per email address is permitted.
6. To be eligible as an entry, you must successfully follow the specific instructions (see point 4.)
7. The Friday Night Lights Student Prize offers entrants the chance to win:
Tickets for you and your housemates to all three of our Friday night Blast fixtures together with £180 worth of food vouchers and a summer supply of Thatchers cider!
8. The competition prize is not transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
9. Travel to and from the venue is not included.
10. Glamorgan County Cricket Club reserves the right to substitute a prize with one equivalent or of greater value in the event of non-availability of the stated prize and if the prize, described above, cannot be awarded for reasons beyond Glamorgan County Cricket Club’s reasonable control.
11. Proof of identity may be required in order to claim the prize.
WINNER SELECTION:
1. One winner will be selected by an independent adjudicator by means of a fair draw and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The adjudicator's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The draw will take place once the Early-Bird ticket deadline ends.
2. Entries will be rejected and deleted from the prize draw if they:
- contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
- represent a danger to health and safety; refer to illegal activities; or
- include any link to inappropriate drinking.
- include trademarks, logos or copyrighted material not owned by you.
3. Winner notification: The winner of the competition will be selected and contacted once the Early-Bird ticket deadline ends. Those not contactable via reasonable means within a further five working days may be disqualified, and an alternative winner will be chosen and awarded the prize on the same basis as is described above.
GENERAL
1. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and all rules and guidelines applicable to the prize draw.
2. Entrance into this competition signifies consent to Glamorgan County Cricket Club to process the Entrant’s personal data for the purpose of this competition in accordance with Glamorgan County Cricket Club’s privacy policy and the right to use any photography or videos submitted as part of this competition within its marketing materials and publicity, including the Glamorgan website, social media channels, and email communications. Entrance into this competition also signifies consent for the entrant’s name and city to appear in the aforementioned marketing materials alongside their photography.
3. Entrants may be invited to participate in additional publicity following entry into this competition but are under no obligation to consent to take part in any further activity.
4. Glamorgan County Cricket Club accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.
5. Glamorgan County Cricket Club cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims suffered by entrants as a result of entering this promotion or accepting a prize. Glamorgan County Cricket Club further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person relating to or resulting from participation in connection with this promotion.
6. Glamorgan County Cricket Club’s decision in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Glamorgan County Cricket Club will be entitled to suspend or terminate the promotion at any time if circumstances adversely affect the operation of the promotion beyond its reasonable control or foresight and will not be liable to anyone as a result.
8. Glamorgan County Cricket Club shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
9. All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions and any entry which does not comply with the entry instruction shall be invalid. By entering this promotion you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
10. Glamorgan County Cricket Club reserves the right to change these terms at any time.
11. This promotion will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
