"A History of the County Championship" - Weds, Dec 2nd at 7.30pm

Award-winning author Stephen Chalke will be the next speaker in the popular series of winter talks at Glamorgan's headquarters at the SSE SWALEC on Wednesday, December 2nd at 7.30pm.
The evening will see Stephen talk about the history of the County Championship - the subject of his highly acclaimed new book - besides recalling some of the great performances by Glamorgan players, and their Championship-winning seasons of 1948, 1969 and 1997. Stephen will also outline how the county competition came into being, as well as recalling some of the record-breaking feats which batsmen, bowlers and fielders have produced over the years.

A History of the County Championship will commence at 7.30pm on the evening of Wednesday, December 2nd with the talk taking place in the Pro-Copy Lounge in the Really Welsh Pavilion. The doors will be opening at 6.45pm, with complimentary tea and coffee also being available.

Tickets for current Glamorgan members cost £3 in advance or £4 on the door on the night. For non-members, it is £4 in advance or £5 on the door (Price includes complimentary tea and coffee).
