We're delighted to be hosting World Cup champions England three times in the summer of 2021:

England vs Sri Lanka IT20 - Wednesday 23rd June & Thursday 24th June

England vs Pakistan ODI, Thursday July 8th

All Members and those on our GlamFam database who are opted in to receive communications from us have been emailed with details about their priority access to tickets.

If the fixture you are attending is cancelled due to the health and safety pandemic, we guarantee that you will be eligible for either a refund of the total value of your tickets or a credit of the same amount in your account with us.

These rights will be automatically communicated to you and all options presented clearly.

If the match is abandoned on the day due to rain, then our 'Refund Conditions' page contains all the information needed.

The current dates for the following major match fixtures at Sophia Gardens are provisional:

Our operations team have been working hard throughout the Covid-19 pandemic to make Sophia Gardens as safe a venue as possible for players and staff during the behind-closed-doors season of 2020, and they have now been working to make it as safe as possible for spectators to return in 2021.

We've installed hand sanisters throughout the stadium, with one-way systems in place and enhanced cleaning measures to help keep you safe and healthy.

We've also introduced strict social distancing measures and clear signage and guidance around Sophia Gardens.

For full details of our five-point plan to make Sophia Gardens a safe venue, click HERE.

The health and wellbeing of everyone involved is the number one priority. The ECB will continue to work closely with government, other sports governing bodies and across industry to plan and deliver the safe return of spectators to live cricket.

We will contact ticket holders to advise them of any health and safety measures that may be in place. These measures may include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Spectator Code of Conduct – a commitment from all match day attendees to adhere to any safety measures outlined and NOT to attend if they or any members of their household or ‘bubble’ are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 or have been asked to self-isolate
  • Test & Trace – the host venue may request contact details for all attendees, in line with government guidance
  • Hygiene and Cleaning – host venues will work with match day delivery partners to ensure hygiene measures are enhanced on site in all spectator areas
  • Managed Entry/Exit/Circulation – Arrival, departure and spectator circulation will be carefully planned and may be staggered. To support this, venues may recommend travel options to and from the venue that are different from those which supporters have previously experienced. Spectators can expect to see both increased signage and instructions to ensure the safety of all attendees, in line with government guidance

what plans do you have in place if social distancing is required and venue capacity has to be reduced?

Sophia Gardens and the ECB will continue to work with Government and other sports over the winter to understand how we can safely welcome cricket fans back next summer. If there is a requirement for social distancing and a reduction in stadium capacity, we will contact ticket purchasers to advise on next steps and any contingency measures in place.

All ticket purchasers are provided with a Ticket Refund Promise to guard against the potential impact of Covid-19 this summer.
