An Evening of Queen Event Guide

On Friday, 20th and Saturday, 21st September the stars of the West End are in town as they perform some of the greatest hits from one of the world's greatest bands in one magical performance.

To make sure that you have the best possible experience at 'An Evening of Queen', check out some of our top tips:

#1 - Get here on time!

As they say, the show must go on but it also must start - get here early to avoid queues!

You can get here on foot, by bus (using 25/25A/62/63), and there is limited parking available at the stadium on the night or in the local pay and display.

#2 - Food and drink

There is a range of catering available from our local street food and drink vendors, including veggie and vegan options, so there's plenty to choose from. You are not, however, allowed to bring your own food and drink to the event. We also have free water refill stations for those who get thirsty - and for those who quench their thirst regularly, please drink responsibly.

#3 - Weather

We're not predicting any bad weather, but in the case of adverse weather conditions the concert will not be cancelled so bring appropriate clothing for whatever the weather is (and if you must use an umbrella, be considerate and make it a small one). If there are extreme weather conditions, we will arrange an alternative date.

#4 - Tickets please!

Remember your ticket! We don't print off duplicates and we have a no duplicate policy. If you're in hospitality or seated section you'll need these for access off the pitch so don't lose them in. 

#5 - Enjoy yourself, and let others have an enjoyable time

We want you to have a brilliant time, and we can't wait for the shows. Be patient if you're stuck in a queue, as we are trying to make sure that everyone is safe (so if possible, don't bring a bag or make it smaller than an A4 piece of paper). There are designated smoking areas, and we do ask that your drink responsibly. We understand that you may be in a buoyant mood upon leaving Sophia Gardens, but please be respectful of our neighbours.
