Glamorgan Academy player Kiran Carlson picked up the Junior Sports Personality of the Year Award at the Nation Radio Sports Awards earlier this week.
Speaking to Nation Radio after receiving the award, Kiran commented, I was honoured to be nominated for this award and to win it as well is brilliant.
I started playing cricket when I was 6 or 7 at Cardiff CC and went on to play for Wales before getting picked for Glamorgan Academy and getting to play for the Seconds last year.
I'm sure this award will sit pride of place at home
