Glamorgan County Cricket Club is pleased to confirm the date and venue for the Finding Lightning trials for West Wales.
The Finding Lightning trials is an initiative run by the Club to find the next generation of potential Glamorgan fast bowlers, and is open to anyone aged between 12 and 20 years old. The only requirement to take part in the trials is that the boys or girls should NOT already be part of the Glamorgan or Cricket Wales talent pathway.
Successful trialists will be invited to be coached and trained by former Derbyshire and Middlesex fast bowler Mohammad Ali Bukhari, who is now part of Glamorgan Academy's coaching staff. The Club have run these trials for a few years now, and have successfully found bowlers who went on to represent Glamorgan and Wales in age-group ECB tournaments.
The West Wales trials for Finding Lightning 2025 is Carmarthen Wanderers Cricket Club on Sunday 31 August between 1PM to 3PM.
