Glamorgan 2nd XI have secured their spot in the 2024 T20 Finals Day set to take place on Tuesday, 16 July 2024 at Wormsley. The team played 10 games in the Central group during the league stage, achieving five wins and three losses which together with two abandoned games gave them 12 points.
Their victories included impressive wins against Gloucestershire by 107 runs, Northamptonshire by 35 runs and 3 wickets, Worcestershire by 3 wickets, and Somerset by 42 runs.

2nd XI Coach Steve Watkins expressed his excitement, saying: "We are delighted to reach Finals Day once again! We have utilised over 25 players throughout the group stages, and we are very grateful to everyone for their contributions along the way.
“The coaches were particularly pleased with the positive, exciting brand of cricket played, and we hope to continue this during Finals Day.
“There will be strong competition on the day with Somerset, Yorkshire, and Surrey also competing. We won't be holding back and are aiming to add to our two previous victories, hoping to go one better than last year's runners-up finish!"
Billy Root added: "It’s an exciting occasion, and it’s been great to see some of the younger players express themselves and the more senior players take responsibility.
“Ultimately, this is why we’ve given ourselves the opportunity to be at Finals Day!"
