Glamorgan Cricket EDI Report

28 Jun 2024 | Community

Glamorgan Cricket is proud to share the first Glamorgan Cricket Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) report.

The report describes some of the work the Club is doing to make the game as inclusive and diverse as possible focusing on three outcomes which are to make sure that:

  1. Equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded into the culture of our people.
  2. We have the most inclusive pathway for talented young people to fulfil their potential.
  3. We have the most diverse fan base possible.

Mark Frost EDI lead for Glamorgan Cricket said: “This is the first report of its kind for Glamorgan Cricket and begins to show how we are striving to meet our EDI objectives. Further reports will unpack more of our work in due course.

“It has been especially good to see the large numbers of children engaged in our schools’ work and the uptake of our T20 Blast introduction offer this season on 13 and 20 June.

“We were delighted to receive the ECB’s award for EDI work in 2023, especially in a year when the sport had received the ICEC report. We really want the overall outcome to be that people ‘feel at home’ when they come to Sophia Gardens.”
