Matt Maynard is \"delighted\" to be continuing on with Glamorgan in his new role as interim head coach but acknowledges the hard work has to continue.
Maynard was unveiled as Glamorgan's interim head coach earlier today (7th Feb) after leading the county's winter training programme and will carry on in the role until the end of the 2019 county season.
"Glamorgan is obviously a club close to my heart. I loved what I was doing last year, and I'm delighted to be given the opportunity," said Maynard.
"We can have a smooth transition to the start of the season, which will hopefully give us the best chance of succes."
Maynard also spoke highly of new signings Billy Root and Charlie Hemphrey, stating "Billy has been a fantastic addition to the squad, while Charlie comes with a great reputation... and having spent time out of the game he appreciates the hard work required to make it."
