Glamorgan to support Rainbow Laces campaign

24 Jul 2018 | Cricket
After a successful inaugural introduction in 2017, Glamorgan will once again don rainbow laces this weekend, when we face Kent Spitfires in the Vitality Blast on Sunday.

Rainbow Laces is an initiative by Stonewall, an international charity that campaign for equal rights for LGBT people around the world.

The campaign has been designed to build awareness and understanding of the issues affecting LGBT people in sport, and how organisations can help ensure all sports offer an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.

Glamorgan is proudly backing the campaign and will incorporate the rainbow colours in the club logo across all social media platforms over the coming weekend in addition to our players wearing rainbow laces.

The matchday stumps will also feature stickers and the guard of honour will wave rainbow and statement flags.
