ACCESSIBILITY

Sophia Gardens Cardiff provides a venue which caters for all of our visitors’ needs. It is our intention to provide information about the accessibility, the facilities we have in place and the use. Glamorgan Cricket is a proud member of the Level Playing Field organisation. Visit our website for more information.

STADIUM UPGRADE

Over the winter, the Club has undertaken a major maintenance project around the ground to improve facilities and enhance our customer experience. We have been busy replacing more than 12,000 old seats, painting the stadium infrastructure and upgrading the toilets.

We are working hard to finish the work as quickly as possible, and whilst we anticipate minimum interruption to your experience, we would like to thank you for your patience as we complete this much-needed work.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We ask that stadium visitors remain considerate and respectful whilst at the venue and remember that other Members, supporters and staff may have ongoing health challenges that may affect them or their close families.

Maintain sensible distancing where possible and do not come on-site if you have COVID-19 symptoms or if you have tested positive.

Comprehensive security measures will be in place for all those visiting Sophia Gardens and all bags will be searched on entrance. On arrival at the gates, your match ticket will be checked by a steward so please have it available on your entry.

Our stewards will be happy to assist with any queries you may have.

GROUND REGULATIONS

We would like to politely remind all Members and spectators to check our Ground Regulations before you arrive, please read these here.

We have carried out a trial on the use of cans for the first two home matches but following advice from the local Safety Advisory Group we will not be allowing in or selling cans for the rest of the matches as per the Ground Regulations in place for the Stadium.

CALL IT OUT

Glamorgan Cricket and Sophia Gardens ask visitors to UNITE against all forms of discrimination. There is no place for it in our sport.

We’re dedicated to raising the game and making our stadium welcoming for all.

Text UNITE to 60650 to report unacceptable behaviour, or inform your nearest stadium steward.

If you witness it, challenge it and CALL IT OUT!
