Glamorgan selectors have named a 15-man squad for the upcoming Vitality Blast away game against Somerset.
Glamorgan are set to take on Somerset, who are currently at the top of the table, at Taunton on Sunday afternoon.
Due to persistent rain, the home game against Hampshire Hawks yesterday was abandoned without any play so the team are keen to get back into action.
Harry Podmore returns to the squad replacing James Harris, and Mason Crane is back after being unavailable for Hampshire due to the loan rule.
The full squad is as follows:
- 05/ Kiran Carlson (C)
- 97/ Eddie Byrom
- 16/ Sam Northeast
- 41/ Colin Ingram
- 33/ Marnus Labuschagne
- 46/ Chris Cooke (WK)
- 88/ Dan Douthwaite
- 13/ Tom Bevan
- 28/ Will Smale
- 64/ Timm van der Gugten
- 35/ Jamie McIlroy
- 08/ Ben Kellaway
- 11/ Andy Gorvin
- 23/ Harry Podmore
- 03/ Mason Crane
View from the camp – Grant Bradburn
“As a group we look forward to Sunday’s trip to Taunton and an opportunity to take on the top of the table team.
“While it was frustrating watching the rain fall on Thursday, which washed out the double header action for us and our fans at Sophia Gardens, the team are in great space of form and spirits.
“We look forward to a good number of our supporters taking the Sunday afternoon trip to Taunton to watch the 3pm clash”.
