Glamorgan Women have announced a 13-member squad for their trip to Gloucestershire in Bristol on Saturday 3 May for their third game in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
After a stunning game of one-day cricket at Spytty Park in Newport on Sunday against Middlesex, Glamorgan Women will face Gloucestershire at the Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol on Saturday 3 May. After Emma Jones' heroics with the bat that got the Daffodil close to a big target, the Surrey all-rounder will miss the next match, but Poppy Tuloch returns to the matchday squad.
Rachel Priest commended the team's mentality against Middlesex, which gets a further boost with the addition of captain Lauren Parfitt. Lauren missed the first two games due to injury, but now joins the team after Beth Gammon took over captaincy duties in her absence. The Pontypool-born batting all-rounder will don the Daffodil for the very first time, after playing age-group cricket for Wales and eventually signing for Western Storm.
