ICC Champions Trophy: Free Tickets for Schools

25 Apr 2017 | Cricket
This summer the best cricketers from around the globe will be playing in Cardiff as they compete in the ICC Champions Trophy and in partnership with ICC we are delighted to be able to offer local school pupils the opportunity to be inspired and watch the action for free.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has worked closely with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to provide local schools with free tickets for students and staff to this  flagship global event.

The free ticket offer for schools is available for two Cardiff matches – New Zealand v Bangladesh on Friday 9th June and Sri Lanka v Pakistan on Monday 12th June.

There are a limited number of free school tickets available for these matches, which will be allocated on a  first come  first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Schools will have to take responsibility for their own travel arrangements to and from the venue.

All tickets allocated through this offer will be seated within designated areas of the ground, which will be stewarded to ensure high standards of behaviour, health and safety. However, please note that neither the ICC nor ECB will not be able to take any responsibility for pupils whilst they are in attendance in the ground, and the school therefore will need to ensure that the appropriate number of adults are present within the group to supervise pupils. Adult tickets will also be available free of charge up to a ratio of one adult per seven pupils (primary) or 10 pupils (secondary). If you require more than this number for any reason, please highlight the request.
