Pre-season training heats up

Pre-season training for Glamorgan players over the last seven days has been very varied as the countdown to the new season continues.
Last Friday in conjunction with the PCA the players visited Angela Gray's Cookery School at Llanerch Vineyard, in the Vale of Glamorgan to undertake the Chef's Kitchen Challenge with the TV chef, before going off on a training camp at Loughborough at the start of this week and finishing the week at Neath.

Following their Kitchen Challenge, although the players aren't quite ready to prepare a member's lunch quite yet, they have improved their culinary skills by producing a two course menu including a variety of main courses.

Indeed as well as learning the basics of food preparation, Angela and her team shared their cooking skills by helping them learn how to prepare some extremely tasty dishes including low carbohydrate options, pasta, curry and salad options. Look out for more pics on Facebook soon!
