Glamorgan Physiotherapist Mark Rausa landed in Australia this week as the lead physio for the England Lions.
Rausa will team up with Head Coach Andy Flower in what will be his second trip with the Lions after he toured Sri Lanka earlier this year.
The Lions are in Australia on a training camp and to support the England Cricket team who are currently playing a warm-up match against a Cricket Australia XI side before the start of the Ashes next week.
The squad will net with the England team, then play a three-day game against Queensland before heading to Perth at the end of November, where they will play one-day games versus Perth Scorchers and Western Australia.
The games are in preparation for the Lions’ tour of West Indies early next year.
“I’m delighted to be back touring with the Lions again,” said Rausa.
“Sri Lanka was a great experience for me so to be able to add a tour of Australia is really exciting.
“Glamorgan have been really supportive and it can only help for me to work with top coaches like Andy Flower and a group of the best young players in England and Wales.”
