Get ready for Cardiff’s biggest fireworks display - Sophiaworks is back at Sophia Gardens this Bonfire Night (Wednesday, November 5), promising an unforgettable evening for families and friends.
Gates open at 5.15pm, giving plenty of time to enjoy the funfair on the Pavilion Lawn, take in live music, and explore the incredible line-up of street food traders.
Street food traders will be serving everything from burgers, pizza, and noodles to sweet treats and coffee, including Chang’s Wok, Crave Burger, Hello Good Pie, Keralan Karavan, Little Dragon Pizza, Meating Point, Fire & Flank, Mac Daddies, Dinky Donuts, Utah Coffee, Urban Jungle, and the Glam Bars Guinness Bar.
Vegetarian, vegan, and Halal options are also available, so there’s something for everyone.
The fireworks display starts at 7pm, lighting up the Cardiff skyline in a breathtaking show of colour and light.

Event Parking

Public parking will be at the Sophia Gardens Pay & Display (CF11 9SZ), just a short 10-minute walk from the general admission gate. Cardiff Council will be manning this on the day and will be charging at their event rate.

Public Transport
- Cardiff Bus services run regularly between Cardiff Central Station and Cathedral Road (adjacent to Sophia Gardens, Cardiff). Also, the Cardiff Bus Interchange is only a short walk away from the stadium.
