Volunteering Opportunity at the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket

5 Oct 2016 | Cricket
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Glamorgan County Cricket Club for a volunteer to undertake work in the award-winning CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket at the Club’s headquarters at The SSE SWALEC.

A volunteer is required to assist the Club with various tasks, including the updating of the catalogue of archive material and other memorabilia stored both at the Museum, situated within the National Cricket Centre at The SSE SWALEC, as well as at Glamorgan Archives, adjacent to the Cardiff City Stadium in Leckwith.

The tasks could be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis, with the volunteer assisting with other paperwork, including the photographing/ scanning of objects.

The previous Museum volunteer, who has now secured full-time employment, also assisted with the staffing of the Museum on match-days and there is the possibility of this also being available for the 2017 season.

Anyone who is interested in applying should contact Dr. Andrew Hignell on museum@glamorgancricket.co.uk, or ring 02920 419383.
