Glamorgan Cricket and the ECB are looking to recruit volunteers to support the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy which will be hosted in Cardiff, Birmingham and London in June.
Across all venues of the ICC Champions Trophy and ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, 1,500 hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic people are needed to work across both tournaments.
Known as the Cricketeers, the volunteers will work in a number of key areas and will be the face of the tournaments.
From spectator services to accreditation, we need you to play a key role in helping us to deliver two months of exciting cricket next summer.
There are a variety of roles for volunteers from supporting on field entertainment and spectator services to media operations and transport. Whatever role you take, you will be required to be committed, flexible; team focused and have a huge welcoming smile.

Becoming a Volunteer
You do not have to have any experience in volunteering to apply to become an ICC Champions Trophy cricketeer; training will be provided to all volunteers.
However, there are some roles that will require an individual to have certain experience but the all the roles will need the applicant to be friendly, committed and team focused to enhance the tournament and spectator experience.
Furthermore to be a Cricketeer (volunteer), you must:
- be 18 years of age before 31st March 2017
- be able to speak and read English
- be eligible to work in the UK
- be available for at least four shifts (min three shifts at Cardiff Wales) per tournament at your chosen venue.
- be able to attend a ‘face to face’ informal interview
- attend one training day (per tournament) at the venue you are volunteering at. Training will take place during April/May.
