After enjoying a hugely successful season in 2015, Glamorgan\'s Graham Wagg wants to go one better this time around.

The allrounder was named Glamorgan Player of the Year in 2015 after hitting a career-best 200 against Surrey, as well as taking 45 wickets and a total of 838 runs in the County Championship.

And Wagg, 32, says he wants to keep improving this season, starting with the match against Leicestershire on Sunday.

He said: "I've had meetings with Robert Croft and Jacques Rudolph throughout the winter, but my personal goal is to do better than last year, which would take me to my best season I've ever had. Obviously I had a really good season last year but I want to build on that."

Wagg says the mood in the Glamorgan camp is great, and the team can't wait to get out on the pitch on Sunday at 11am.

"The boys are ready to go," he added. "There's been a lot of preparation and a lot of talk and it's time to take that onto the field and we look forward to playing an improved Leicestershire team.

"They've added to their squad and we've added to ours. There are no teams to be taken lightly this season, but we can't wait to get out there and play."
