Tonight marks Mark Alleyne's first game in charge as Glamorgan's new Limited Overs Head Coach.
The Welsh county make the short trip over the Severn Bridge to Bristol to take on Gloucestershire in their Vitality Blast opener.
Gloucestershire began their T20 campaign on Wednesday night when they were beaten by seven wickets by Kent Spitfires.
"We've got a group of players that have been playing competitive cricket since the end of February. Although it's been a short turnaround in terms of format, I think we're ready to go" said Alleyne.
"To perform at your best you need to create an environment where guys can really express themselves because they're all good enough to be in the top four at the end of the season.
"It's my job to create the stimulus within the group and that's were my focus is."
