BTEC Studies at Glamorgan Cricket

Glamorgan CCC and Fitzalan High School have joined forces with TVS Education to offer a unique sports studies qualification at Sophia Gardens Cardiff

From September 2016, students aged 16-18 will be able to study for a BTEC National in Sport, with teaching and coaching taking place at Glamorgan's headquarters, Sophia Gardens Cardiff.

The course is the equivalent of 3 A Level’s and a gateway in to higher education or work within the industry. 

Students will study units including; anatomy and physiology, sports psychology and fitness testing and training.

As well as tuition from Glamorgan's own coaches and former professionals, students will receive advice on conditioning, physiotherapy and mental training, plus experience first-hand how an international sports stadium operates throughout the year.
