Chris studied his Masters in Sports Performance Analysis at Cardiff Metropolitan, where he undertook a data collection role for a GPS study at Glamorgan Cricket during his placement module. He also began learning the systems in place for analysis outside of data collection. Chris stuck around for the 2018 season as a match day coder before being offered the job as a full-time analyst in 2019. He works with the ECB on specific projects they look to implement within domestic cricket, while also working for the Welsh Fire Women's team during The Hundred.
