Georgina holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and a PG Dip in Sports Physiotherapy, ACPSEM Silver Level.
Georgina graduated in 2006 from Cardiff University. She worked as a rotational physiotherapist in Cardiff and Vale NHS for 4 years before transitioning to the University of Bath to work in the Sports Injury Clinic. There, she provided treatment to both members of the public and elite athletes who trained at the campus. Georgina traveled with the GB Bobsleigh team for 3 years leading up to Sochi 2014, where they secured a bronze medal. Following her time with Team Bath, she assumed the role of Head Physio for London Welsh RFC in the summer of 2014. In this capacity, she oversaw the physiotherapy department for both the Premiership and Championship leagues until London Welsh ceased operations in 2017. Subsequently, Georgina worked as a contractor for GB Sailing, British Swimming, GB Skeleton, and the Rugby Football Union. She served as Head Physio for England Women’s Rugby for one season before returning to Cardiff as Head Physio for Glamorgan CCC. During this period, she also represented Team GB at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.
