Glamorgan squad for the home game against Yorkshire

Glamorgan selectors have announced a 14-man squad for the home Vitality County Championship fixture against Yorkshire starting on Tuesday 16 September.

Following a defeat away to Division 2 leaders Sussex, Grant Bradburn and Sam Northeast will look to pull things back at Sophia Gardens against second-placed Yorkshire.
A victory this week would also provide momentum ahead of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup Final on Sunday 22 September at Trent Bridge.
Ben Kellaway remains in the squad after his five-wicket-haul in Hove and Timm van der Gugten returns. Billy Root and Jamie McIlroy are rested ahead of Sunday’s One Day Cup Final. Eddie Byrom continues his recovery from injury.

View from the Camp – Glamorgan Cricket Red-Ball Captain, Sam Northeast:

“It is a big week for the Club and everyone is really excited.
“If we put up a good performance here against Yorkshire that will lead up well for Sunday.”
“We are trying to balance between the red-ball and the white-ball at the minute. There are also a few in the group with a shout of making their debut tomorrow.”
