Tonight sees Glamorgan return to Surrey for their 2016 NatWest T20 Blast opener at The Kia Oval – the venue where the Welsh county claimed a stunning victory last season.
Jacques Rudolph will take his team back to a rowdy and raucous Oval and he will hope they can replicate last season's performance.
Rudolph hit 62 off 39 balls, while compatriot Colin Ingram blazed 91 off just 51 balls as Glamorgan recorded highest ever T20 score, posting 240/3.
Chris Cooke smashed a quickfire 46 at the end to propel Glamorgan to a formidable total on a flat Oval pitch.
Roared on by a capacity crowd in South London, Surrey began their chase in fine fashion, with Steven Davies hitting 58. Zafar Ansari remained unbeaten on 67 at the finish, but the home side fell just short, posting 215. It meant Glamorgan claimed a famous win to kickstart their 2015 T20 Blast campaign in style and send the travelling Welsh fans home happy.
