Glamorgan 2nd XI will face Gloucestershire at Rockhampton Cricket Club on Wednesday 11 June for the T20 Central Group match, starting at 11:30AM.
After a close game at Sophia Gardens which saw Worcestershire 2nd XI beat Glamorgan 2nd XI by 7 runs, Mark O'Leary names a 12-man squad for the short trip across the bridge to Rockhampton, where Gloucestershire's 2nd XI await their Welsh counterparts. Mark O'Leary has named a couple of fresh faces in the squad, with Matt Marriott getting his first-ever call-up for Glamorgan 2nd XI. The Kent-born left-arm pacer, who offers bounce with his tall height and higher release point, is a first-year student at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and earns his first call-up for the Daffodil.
Luke Humphries is set to play for the 2nd XI for the first time in the Central Group T20 competition, having impressed in the age-group games with the Glamorgan Under-18s as well as for Wales National County. Right-arm medium pacer Zac Le Riche also returns to play for his first 2nd XI game of the season, as the University of Cambridge student, who came through the ranks at Cricket Wales, will look to impress the coaching staff.
